A group of five people were stopped and searched by the officers at Amhurst Park on Wednesday (November 5) at 3.30pm.

Footage circulating online shows a police car pulling up with armed officers running to a crowd and yelling “get down on the floor”.

The people were then instructed to keep their arms in the air while on the floor, as police searched them.

Neighbourhood watch group Shomrim reports that it was believed a group of males were "attacking each other with machetes as children left school".

According to the Metropolitan Police, no weapons were found and no one was arrested.

There were also no reports of anyone injured in the area.

However the Met continues to investigate the incident, and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference 4715/05NOV25.
