The Metropolitan Police was called to reports of a stabbing in Church Road, Northolt last night (November 6) at around 11pm.

A man in his 30s was treated at the scene for stab wounds and was taken to hospital.

His injuries were assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm as well as possession of class B drugs.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Around 23.10hrs on Thursday, November 6, officers attended Church Road, Northolt, with the London Ambulance Service, following reports of a stabbing.

"A man, aged in his 30s, was treated at the scene for stab wounds.

"He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as neither life-changing nor life-threatening.
