Police are hunting a knife thug after a teenage boy was stabbed in Paisley. ‌

Emergency services were called to the Gauze Street area of the town at around 8.55pm on Bonfire Night . ‌

A 13-year-old was found injured at the scene. He was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow for treatment. ‌

His condition is currently unknown.

Officers said they were following a "positive line of enquiry". No arrests have yet been made.
