A man has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder following a stabbing in North Ormesby . Two 44-year-old men were taken to hospital following a disturbance in the Orme Court area at around 9.30pm on Thursday, November 6.
It is believed that weapons were used to attack a vehicle with two occupants inside. Cleveland Police has said two 44-year-old men were left with injuries consistent with a stabbing.
Both were taken to hospital. One of the men is in a “critical but stable” condition whilst the other has non-life threatening injuries.
A 23-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He remains in police custody on Friday afternoon, November 7.
