P3R, the organization behind the Pittsburgh Marathon, announced road closures across Downtown, the Strip District, Elliott and the North Side during its 10 Miler and 10K races on Sunday.
Road closures will begin on most of the dozen-plus affected streets at 6:30 a.m. and gradually lift as runners pass.
The 10K race will begin on West General Robinson Street on the North Side at 7:30 a.m., while the 10 Miler will begin on West Carson Street near Station Square at 8:30 a.m.
Both races will finish Downtown on Liberty Avenue, which will be the last road to reopen, around 12:45 p.m. P3R expects around 5,500 runners to participate in total.
Commuters can find a full map of both courses and the related road closures on P3R’s website.
