MORGAN COUNTY, Tennessee — A man in Morgan County has been arrested and charged following a road rage incident involving a school bus in a school zone on Wednesday.

According to officials, Owen Choat passed a school bus on a double yellow line in Oakdale. Afterward, they said he also passed another car and almost hit a vehicle.

Choat then stopped at the TJ Fuel gas station, yelled at the people he passed and shot a gun into the air, officials said. One of the shell casings from the gunshot landed on a teen and burned his shirt.

Choat then left the gas station and passed another school bus on a double yellow line.
