RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — RDU message boards display several flight delays and cancellations.

"Newark's been okay, JFK has been a nightmare," said Abigail Klein.

"We flew out of Philly, and we had a flight from Philly to Raleigh at two o'clock and got delayed to 3 o'clock, and 20 minutes later, delayed again, and that's when I started getting worried," said Steve Noxon.

While Steve finally arrived at his destination, we found some travelers ready to make alternative plans.

"We had no idea if we would get home, but we had a backup plan. We were going to rent a car and get home no matter what," said Michelle Rentsch.
