• Marine Corps League Macomb County Detachment 154 will celebrate the Marine Corps 250th birthday Nov. 10 at the American Legion Post 351, 46146 Cass Avenue, Utica. Doors open at 4 p.m.; potluck dinner at 5 p.m. and ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each

Bottle and can drive

• Woman’s Life Chapter 855 conducts a continuous bottle and can drive with drop off locations in Richmond and Memphis to help those in the community in need. They also offer a pick up service for larger donations. For more information, call 586-318-4053.

Euchre event

• Sterling Heights Lions Club host euchre tournament Nov. 14 at their clubhouse, 12828 Canal Road, Sterling Heights. Doors open at 6 p.m.; play starts at 7 p.m. Cost is $20 per person and includes pizza, snacks and one free drink
