GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Great Smoky Mountains National Park announced on Saturday there will be a pair of closures Sunday evening ahead of arctic blast that may bring snow to parts of East Tennessee.
The park said US 411, also known as Newfound Gap Road, and the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail will be closing at 6 p.m. on Sunday due to forecasted severe weather.

The park will reassess conditions Monday morning.
