SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Flights are being canceled across the country after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced it would reduce the number of flights at 40 of the nation's top airports.

"Just over a period of time our flights go out full and so I'm sure there's gonna be, with the cancellations, our flights are gonna get more and more full. People's patience are getting a little bit shorter," said travel agent Judy Walters.

Walters said she expects the flight reduction during the holidays to have a significant impact on travelers.

"Oh my goodness. Well, we're praying that it gets settled before because people are trying to get home for their families, and you're going to have a lot of cancellations. That's my opinion," said Walters.
