WAIPI’O, Hawaii (Island News) – A murder investigation is underway after a man was found with apparent gunshot wounds in the Waipi’o area.

According to the Honolulu Police Department (HPD), at approximately 11:15 p.m. officers located a man with gunshot wounds on Friday night.

Homicide detectives are currently investigating the case, and the Medical Examiner’s Office (ME) will release the man’s identity in the coming days.

No other details have been provided at this time and no arrests have been made.
