Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to the football stadium at 10.10pm last night after reports of a fire "affecting one of the stands." Shocking footage shared on social media shows crew tackling the flames.
At around 10.10pm last night three appliances and an aerial ladder platform were initially sent to the St James Park football stadium after smoke and flames were seen affecting a temporary building (portacabin) at the St James Road and Well Street end.
