An investigation is underway after police said a man was stabbed at a Sunoco gas station in Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, around 1:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to a Sunoco gas station located on the 800 block of South Broad Street after receiving a report of a person with a weapon.

When officers got to the scene, police said they found that a customer, a man, had been stabbed in the chest.

The man was transported to the hospital by medics for treatment.

It is unclear at this time who stabbed the man and why. Police said updates will be provided following an investigation.
