A Chester man pleaded guilty to charges of driving under the influence and accidents causing damage to attendant vehicles for a head-on collision in January that injured two people traveling in an Uber.
David Sutton, 44, of the 700 block of Barclay Street, was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to perform 32 hours of community service under the negotiated plea worked out by Assistant District Attorney Dareus Chen and defense counsel Alyssa Mallgrave.
Additional charges including aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment and fleeing or eluding police were withdrawn under the plea accepted by Common Pleas Court Judge G. Michael Green.
