Tributes have been paid to a "beautiful" young Scottish woman who was killed in a horror crash in Ireland. ‌

Chloe Hipson, 21, died alongside four others in the fatal collision on Ardee Road in the townland of Gibstown in Dundalk, County Louth, at 9pm on Saturday. The crash involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Land Cruiser. ‌

Gardaí , Irish police, confirmed that five occupants of the Volkswagen Golf - three men and two women - were killed in the collision. Tributes have been paid to Chloe, who was from Bellshill, following the tragedy. ‌

North Motherwell FC said they would be holding a one minute silence in memory of Chloe , who is the younger sister of their veteran player Ryan Hipson.
