UPDATE: Work continues on the railroad crossings in Fort Payne on Monday.

City officials said all crossings, from 38th Street North to 8th Street North, are closed for maintenance on November 17.

Officials also said the 5th Street crossing has reopened.

No timeframe was given for when the crossings will reopen.

"We will update this post as we get more information on openings and closings,” officials said on Facebook . "Thank you for your patience.”
