The city of Phoenix is celebrating Native American Heritage Month with a series of videos spotlighting the people, places and partnerships that honor Indigenous heritage and strengthen our community.

This year’s features highlight stories of connection, cultural preservation, and collaboration across the city.

From the City Archaeologist and S’edav Va’aki Museum — working together with Tribal Historic Preservation Offices to protect and interpret one of Phoenix’s most significant ancestral sites — to the Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve, where ancient carvings tell stories that still inspire wonder today, these pieces show how history and stewardship go hand in hand.
