Gloomy and cool are the themes this week

After such a beautiful weekend, Mother Nature has finally caught up her calendar, meaning some typically gray and chilly days are ahead this week.

A round of rain showers rolls through into early Tuesday morning. While some sleet may mix in at times, impacts would be minimal on that front, although a rainy night is likely to lead to a wet start to the Tuesday morning commute.

As the rain tapers off during the commute, drizzly conditions are expected to hang on throughout the day on at least a patchy basis. Drizzle will fizzle out later in the afternoon, but clouds will hold strong throughout the day and for much of the week.

Cloudy skies will hold our temperatures to seasonable levels, with highs only in the mid 40s on Tuesday. We'll be trying to reach the low 50s later this week, but i
