After slogging through a weekend of rain, much of Orange County was rewarded with picturesque skies on Monday — for at least part of the day.
Blue skies and fluffy white clouds had people stopping in their tracks to enjoy the break in the rainy weather and the sun rays punching through.
Then the heavy, darker clouds took back over as a bit more rain passed through the region later in the day.
Temperatures are expected to get into the low-60s on Tuesday for much of Orange County, though it will be cooler along the coast, according to the National Weather Service. There are some more chances for rain showers on Tuesday. Wednesday is expected to see the sun shining through, but more rain showers are anticipated later in the week.
