KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -Unsettled weather returns late day, bringing relief for wildfires.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy early, then increasing clouds by evening. Windy and warmer with highs in the mid 60s to near 70. Outdoor burning is discouraged due to extremely dry air and wind. Winds will be southwest at 10-20 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Isolated downpours and maybe a thunderstorm, especially after midnight. Lows will be in the mid to upper 50s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a stray shower possible. Highs will be in the low 70s. Lows will be in the 50s.

LATE WEEK: More off and on clouds both Thursday and Friday with some rain by Friday evening. Highs will be in the 60s to near 70. Lows will be in the 50s.

WEEKEND: Highs will drop back into the 60s in most areas with lows in the 40s.
