The Met Office has issued yet another weather warning for Scotland, meaning there are now four in place today, November 18. It comes as one of the forecaster's meteorologists predicted lows of -11C. ‌

The latest yellow alert for ice covers most of southern and central Scotland, including Glasgow , Edinburgh , Perth, and Dundee. It is in force from 4pm today until 11am tomorrow, November 19. ‌

Scots in the affected areas should expect icy patches on roads and pavements, after melted rain and hill snow freezes in the bone-chilling temperatures. ‌

This is on top of the other Met Office warnings for snow and ice. One was in place from 5am until noon, again covering much of southern and central Scotland.
