ATLANTA — A family of seven was displaced in a housefire in south Fulton County early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out at a home on Springfield Way, which is listed with an Atlanta address but appears to be within South Fulton city limits. Photos from the scene showed severe damage at the front garage area of the home.

There was no immediate word on what started the fire. The Red Cross said it was assisting the seven members of the family with emergency aid including comfort kit, direct client assistance and recovery planning.
