BRYSON CITY, North Carolina (WDEF) – A driver in North Carolina has an unusual story on how her window got smashed.

The woman was driving on US74 in Swain County around 8:15 Wednesday morning when it happened.

She told state troopers that a bald eagle dropped a cat through her windshield.

She was not injured, but, unfortunately, the cat did not survive.
