DALLAS — After years of stalled plans to redevelop the former Valley View Mall site, developers Friday broke ground on a $85 million mixed-use project planned at the site of the former mall.
Developers say the project, dubbed Premier at Dallas Midtown, will be six stories with 296 residential units and 13,500 square feet of ground-floor retail at the southwest corner of Dilbeck and Preston Road, across from T Bar M Tennis Club. Developers say it's expected to open in 2027 and welcome new residents in the first half of 2028.
Dallas-based multifamily developer Anthem is partnering with PLT America, a joint venture of Toyota Motor Corporation and Panasonic Holdings Corporation, and Beck Ventures on the project.
Premier represents an $85 million investment on 4 acres of the 110-acres site
