NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The North Charleston Police Department has arrested three suspects after they located guns and drugs at an apartment complex following reports of a shooting Thursday morning.

James Alton Brown, 50, of Ladson, is charged with manufacturing or possessing a controlled substance with intent to distribute, first offense, trafficking methamphetamine for an amount greater than 10 grams but less than 28 grams, first offense and manufacturing, distributing or possessing with intent to distribute cocaine base, first offense.
