NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — North Charleston Police has asked the public to avoid part of the city during an active investigation.

Police said they were investigating an “incident” on the 7700 block of Montview Road.

Officers did not share any information regarding the nature of the investigation.

Residents were asked to avoid the area.
