ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — U.S. Rep. Mike Collins - one of four Republicans running for their party’s 2026 Senate nomination - is under scrutiny by the House of Representatives ethics committee.
According to a memo released Friday, U.S. Rep. Michael Guest (R-Mississippi), who chairs the committee, said it has extended a previous request to investigate Collins that was originally considered on Oct. 7, 2025.
Brandon Phillips, Collins’ chief of staff, was also reportedly part of the referral.
The memo did not specify why Collins and Phillips could be investigated.
