NEWBERRY, Fla. (WCJB) - If you passed by CountryWay Town Square in Newberry on Sunday, you may have gone home with your Thanksgiving turkey.

Sunday was the first-ever “Turkeys n’ Trucks Donation Drive.”

Local families could give or receive turkeys, canned goods and grocery gift cards.

There were a variety of different construction vehicles so families could hop inside and take pictures.

“So we’re just out here serving the community, and we brought all of our trucks and equipment just for the kids to see, and we’re just asking for donations for food for the community and Newberry, just wanna distribute and give back and serve because we’ve been blessed and we want to bless others,” said Lindsey Law, a volunteer.

Further donations can be made at the Countryway Town Square.
