Police have issued an appeal after a 12-year-old girl from Wales was reported missing. The schoolgirl, Emily, who is from the South Wales town of Cwmbran, was last seen at 8pm last Saturday (November 22), in the Llanedeyrn area of Cardiff.

Llanedeyrn is a district and community in the east of the city, around 3.5 miles from the city centre. South Wales Police is appealing for anyone with information about her whereabouts.

Police said the youngster also has links to the nearby Pentwyn and Pontprennau areas.

The force said: "We are appealing for your help to locate 12-year-old Emily, who has been reported missing.
