The I'm a Celebrity camp was dramatically evacuated in an emergency move. The show's bosses had to swiftly shelter the celebrities following a terrifying storm. The Queensland Bureau of Meteorology had previously issued a warning about what it termed as a "very dangerous storm" set to impact the area. ‌

It detailed how the thunderstorm was generating "large to giant hailstones, damaging and destructive winds and heavy rainfall causing flash flooding." The campmates were quickly ushered into the Bush Telegraph where they huddled together for an hour while the worst of the storm passed. ‌
