SALT LAKE CITY — A 17-year-old male and a 14-year-old female died from their injuries when their car lost control and crashed on state Route 165, not far from Ridgeline High School.
According to Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Davies Sanchez, the driver of a Toyota Corolla lost control, crossed all lanes of traffic and then into oncoming traffic.
Sanchez said the Corolla driver hit the front of a Toyota Sienna and rolled. The incident occurred Saturday at approximately 7:09 p.m.
There were five people in the Corolla, and three of them were ejected from the vehicle.
The UHP said one of the Corolla occupants was airlifted to a hospital and three others were taken by ambulance.
