Two people have been arrested after a man was injured in an alleged attack at a County Durham pub.
Police taped off the Quinns Inn, on Spennymoor High Street, following a suspected assault at the venue around 12.30am on Saturday (November 22).
The victim, a 34-year-old man, was taken to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, with head injuries and he remains in a stable condition.
Durham Police has confirmed that two men, aged 21 and 23, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and they remain in police custody.

A police cordon was erected outside the pub for 19 hours following the incident on Saturday, with crime scene investigators spotted searching the area.
