ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A suspect from an Anderson County burglary got caught by an unexpected officer over the weekend when he was found by K9 BOLO, the county’s sheriff’s office announced Monday.

“He tracked the suspect from the house, through the woods, and straight to where the man was hiding — because hiding from BOLO has never worked out for the bad guys,“ said Anderson County Sheriff’s Office in a Facebook post.

The man found was a suspect in a residential burglary that happened on 11/22. ACSO also said the culprit made one other mistake.

“As if that wasn’t enough, the suspect even messed with the homeowner’s dog — which, as we all know, is a terrible life choice...So who do you call when a bad guy needs finding? K9 BOLO," the post said.
