Students at a Northumberland college have unveiled a tribute to knife crime victims as part of an art project. Young people studying at Northumberland Skills at the Port of Blyth designed and produced a bench made out of confiscated or donated blunted knives using the college's welding centre.
The bench is now on display at Blyth Pavilion. Its unveiling taking place during Operation Sceptre, a week of targeted activity to tackle knife crime and its root causes across the Northumbria Police force area.
