Two road projects will affect drivers who use Route 30 in York County in the next few weeks.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said pavement patching on both directions of Route 30 in Hellam Twp. will be done from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, Nov. 24, Tuesday, Nov. 25 and Wednesday, Nov. 26 before stopping for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Work will resume the same hours from Monday, Dec. 1, through Thursday, Dec. 4, weather permitting. The work includes milling, paving and line painting.

This work is part of a resurfacing project on Route 30 from just west of the Route 462/Hallam Exit to the Wrights Ferry bridge spanning the Susquehanna River.

Drivers should expect lane restrictions and rolling stops that could cause delays.
