BUFFALO, Minn. — A crash this weekend in Wright County left two people dead and two teens hurt.

It happened Saturday around 2:30 a.m. on Highway 55 near County Road 33, just outside Buffalo.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, a Chevy Equinox and a GMC Acadia collided. The driver of the GMC, Shawn Aaron Slaven, 50, of Plymouth, died from his injuries.

Three women were in the Chevy, State Patrol said. The driver, Mindimoie Monik Diggines, 18, of St. Paul, died from her injuries. One 18-year-old passenger has injuries described by officials as life-threatening. The other 18-year-old passenger's injuries are not as severe, according to authorities.
