KENT COUNTY, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to locate 75-year-old Suzanne Boerigter.

Boerigter was last seen Monday before she walked away from the area of 68th St. SE and S. Division Ave. SE in Gaines Township.

She is 5'7", 185 lbs, and was last seen wearing jeans, a purple sweater and carrying a brown purse. Authorities said she may have a red jacket.

According to the sheriff's office, Boerigter does not have a vehicle or phone and has not contacted family.

She has onset dementia and has had thoughts of self-harm, according to authorities. They said she may be heading towards Holland.

If you locate Boerigter you're asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.
