Nyier Daniels , the Georgia football offensive lineman who coach Kirby Smart dismissed from the team Monday after his Sunday arrest in Commerce, took police on a chase on I-85 going over 150 miles per hour in a 70 mile per zone, according to an incident report released Monday.
There “were two juveniles,” in a 2021 BMW M5 driven by Daniels that were described as his younger siblings, according to the Commerce Police Department incident report.
The redshirt freshman from Newark, N.J., faces 13 charges, including felony fleeing from a police officer and two counts of cruelty to a child in the second degree.
The events began when police were trying to pull over a Nissan Rogue being driven by Brandi Canada-Green, Daniels’ mother for failing to stop at a stop sign.
