The Dallas Cowboys’ defense has finally started making some noise after two consecutive wins over the Raiders and Eagles. However, a handful of injuries dampened the mood. Still, head coach Brian Schottenheimer is confident his squad can keep the momentum rolling into their Thanksgiving Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Looking at a short week ahead, coach Schottenheimer dropped both a promising and concerning injury update.

Wide receiver George Pickens, who is dealing with calf and knee injuries, did not practice in the team’s walkthrough. However, the coach is confident that the WR will be present in the game against the Chiefs. The same can be said about Quinnen Williams, who had a rib injury.

“We’re beat up a little bit,” he said during the presser.
