EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The storage shed for Angels and Dragonflies, a children's charity in East Stroudsburg , is packed to the gills with boxes of toys.
But there are still more gifts to collect for the Angel Tree program, which is the non-profit's fourth year of helping families have a Merry Christmas.
Sherry Payne-Scott of Angels and Dragonflies Children's Charity says, "There's nothing worse than not having anything under the tree for a child, and if they still believe in Santa and the spirit of Christmas, it's important for them to have something to open."
This year, the non-profit is helping several Monroe County agencies provide gifts for 60 families, totaling more than 170 children. The angel tree tags list what each child would like for the holiday.
