A massive blaze has erupted at a warehouse in west London. Approximately 100 firefighters, spread across 15 fire engines, are battling the inferno on Bridge Road in Southall.

The London Fire Brigade was alerted to the incident at 8.55am. Firefighting teams from Southall, Heston, Ealing and nearby stations have been dispatched to the scene, reports MyLondon .

There is heavy traffic in the area. Photos shared on X show flames flickering from the site, as thick plumes of black smoke fill West London's skyline and can be seen for miles.
