WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - A Crawfordville man was sentenced nearly a week ago for numerous child sex crimes, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida.
Donovan Sauleda , 39, was sentenced to 60 years in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release Thursday “for possession and receipt of child pornography, and production and distribution of obscene material portraying a child,” the attorney’s office wrote in a press release Tuesday.
The 39-year-old’s sentencing comes after a federal jury found him guilty of multiple child sex crimes in June, stemming from an investigation of Sauleda that began in 2021.
The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office began looking into him in November 2021 when he failed to register online as a sex offender, the press
