AMSTERDAM — The 11th annual Thanks4Giving 5k race and 1 mile walk will be held 9 a.m. Thursday at Tecler Elementary School with all proceeds supporting the mission work of Dr. Tom Catena at Mother of Mercy Hospital in the Nuba Mountains in Sudan.

Since its inception, race directors Robin and Joe Sise said the turkey trot has raised more than $250,000 to support Catena’s work at the missionary hospital in war-torn Sudan.
