A Grammy-nominated singer was groped by an overzealous fan during a show in Detroit.
TMZ reported the incident involving R&B artist Mario occurred during a concert at the Masonic Jack White Theatre in Detroit on Nov. 22
Footage captured by The Shade Room showed Mario serenading the crowd when a fan slid their hand over his crotch. The singer quickly reacted by scolding the fan before continuing.
The 39-year-old artist from Baltimore was among the genre’s biggest stars in the early to mid-2000s.
His second album, Turning Point , was supported by the Billboard Hot 100-number one single “Let Me Love You,” which was nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards and won two Billboard Music Awards.
