AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Burke County deputies responded to a crash at Highway 23 and Hancock Landing Road Tuesday night.

Around 8:40 p.m., officials said the roadway was shut down from Ben Hatcher Road to Jack Delaigle Road.

Officials say injuries were reported. Drivers are asked to seek an alternate route.

The sheriff’s office says the Georgia Department of Transportation has been notified.
