RED HOOK, N.Y. – Village trustees have cancelled a public hearing on zoning amendments that would add a Gateway North Zoning District and instead will use the same Thursday, Dec. 8, session to take comments on a 27-page study that was used as the basis of those draft land use regulation changes.

The change is being made to accommodate a state law that requires municipalities to have a formal hearing on updates to comprehensive plans.
