BUFFALO, N.Y. — A major roadway is about to reopen following a weather-related incident that happened earlier this week.

The New York State Department of Transportation on Thursday night announced that restrictions on empty trucks and trailers would expire at midnight. The Buffalo Skyway will also reopen at midnight.

The Skyway closure and restrictions on empty trucks and trailers happened Wednesday afternoon, after a crash closed the Skyway from the 190 down to Mile Strip Expressway.
