A man has voiced his frustration with Manchester Airport after being slapped with a £25 charge for picking up his family, claiming he was parked for just four minutes. Archie McCaig, 63, pulled into Terminal 2's barrier-free pick-up zone at 8.23am on Friday, November 21.
He claims he collected his nephew and family from their Florida holiday and was on his way out of the pick-up area four minutes later, only to be held up by a queue of traffic as he tried to leave the area. Having set up his Jeep Renegade for automatic airport parking payments, he was taken aback when he received the bill via email the following morning.
