HARFORD, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Game Commission is searching for whoever illegally shot and killed an 8-point white tailed deer in Susquehanna County .
Investigators say someone shot the animal at close range with a crossbow last week near the intersection of Wolf Lake Road and Richardson Road in Harford Township.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission's northeast region says it was an eight-point white-tailed deer, and the carcass was left to rot by the side of the road.
