WILSON, N.C. (WITN) - A Wayne County man is facing an attempted murder charge after warrants say he shot into an occupied home in Wilson.
Pitt County deputies took 23-year-old Noel Rosa into custody yesterday.
According to court warrants, Rosa shot into a home on Powell Street in Wilson on Wednesday.
Warrants say Rosa used a semiautomatic handgun, and there was a person inside the home at the time of the shooting.
Rosa was charged with attempted first-degree murder and discharging a weapon into occupied property.
Rosa was taken to the Pitt County Jail without bond.
He’s set to appear in Wilson County court on Monday.
